Animal Husbandry

Learners study how changes in the environment can drastically affect the survival of an animal. After a class discussion, pupils are divided up into groups and are given the task of coming up with the best environment to allow brine shrimp eggs to hatch and thrive. In the second activity, the groups discuss and demonstrate the effects of oil on a bird's feathers, and look into a variety of ways humans can best remove it. Two terrific activities!
