  • Have students write the number represented by each card on the back, and then use them as flash cards while learning about place value
  • Perform one-on-one assessments of children's number sense with these cards
  • Use this cards to model addition and subtraction problems during whole class or small group math lessons
  • Create a set of number cards corresponding to the base-ten cards, and use them to play a matching game

Classroom Considerations

  • Print these cards on card stock and/or laminate them, creating class sets that can be used year after year
