A small, bronze sculpture of a man leaping over a bull from the island of Crete is the starting point for an exploration of the Minoans, their rich bronze making tradition and the role of the bull in myth and legend. Neil MacGregor, Director of the British Museum, looks at a complex and still largely unknown culture at the centre of the vast network of trade routes in the Mediterranean of the time. He also tracks down a modern day bull leaper to try and figure out the attraction. (Duration: 15 mins)
