Learners examine ways to deal with unsafe fire situations. They determine what to do when someone else is casing a dangerous fire situation such as playing with a lighter, burning candles near curtains, or smoking in bed. Working with a partner, they role play a the situation while practicing telling the other person, "No" so they do not harm themselves. They are assessed on their responses to the dangerous situations.
