Blending Butterflies

Young scholars create camouflage butterflies. In this camouflage lesson plan, students read about the different types of camouflage. Each student in the class chooses a spot in the classroom and creates a camouflaged butterfly. They hang up their butterfly and the class sits and records all the butterflies they can see and identifies the types of camouflage used.

Lesson Planet has been fantastic!! I have been able to look at many different lessons based on my chosen theme and then just take the pieces I like and make it my own. It makes life so much easier and I have gleaned some great ideas. Thank you!!
