Students investigate chemical reactions involved in making a blueprint. In this blueprint paper lesson plan, students expose blueprint paper with writing that has been soaked in a solution of potassium ferricyanide and iron (III) ammonium citrate to the sunlight. They rinse the excess chemicals and allow their blueprint to dry. Students answer 6 questions about the chemical reactions and the process of making a blueprint.
