They examine the prices for fruit on a snack menu and observe three customer scenarios. For each one, scholars determine how much change should be given back if one dollar was paid. They choose from three options, which are pictured as coins instead of written out. Here's a fun idea: create a classroom store and let kids take turns running the cash register, getting some practical experience, and having a great time!
