Canadian Legends (Inuit and/or Native)

Third graders examine the attributes of Canadian legends by reading both Internet and written versions. They examine Arctic animals in order to determine which one they will write about. They work in pairs to write the first half of a legend which they e-mail to partners from another school for completion.
