Third graders explore regional factors that affect daily temperature. They collect data on three cities in the northeast, southeast and midwest regions of the US for two weeks. The Weather Channel website is used each day to collect temperature data then the students graph the information for each city. They anaylze factors that could lead to differences in temperture in these three regions.
