Explore number value with learners through playing cards. They examine sets of three cards, adding up the value and comparing it to another set of three. Learners write in which is greater than or is less than to show number value comparison. There is an example, and scholars complete three problems on their own. Next, they examine numbers and write in values that are one more and one less. There are five of these, each with different numbers missing, for scholars to compute.
