# Complement of an Event

In this probability instructional activity, 9th graders solve 10 different problems that complement a particular event. First, they determine the probability of landing on a sector that is not black after spinning the spinner. Then, students determine the probability of choosing a card that is not a queen of club. Also, they determine the probability that the number is not odd.
