Counting (Up to 120) - Guided Lesson

Three sets of objects create arrays for learners to count: will they discover strategies to make their job easier? Each array has between 105 and 120 objects in rows. Have learners do the first one, then review their strategies. Did anyone count down and across and multiply? Did they simply add a number over and over using an equation? How long did it take students who physically counted each object? For the next two, have them try different strategies.
