Upper elementary children still are intrigued by dinosaurs. Here is a dinosaur lesson that is geared toward their age group! The learners consider a list of prefixes and suffixes. Using the list, they can analyze the names of their favorite dinosaurs and then create their own. This is a terrific activity to use during an Earth history lesson or in a language arts lesson about prefixes.

Lesson Planet has made giving my English lessons so much easier. I can go on Lesson Planet and prepare lessons for my Japanese students with ease and save my lessons for future use. I am new to Lesson Planet, but have found it to be very useful.
