Cultural Awareness/ Sharing Traditions

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Students discuss topics relating to how their families celebrate holidays and observe certain religious customs. In this cultural awareness lesson, students work in groups to share their cultural traditions, the list similarities and differences in their cultures. Students then complete a homework assignment based on an interview given to a student outside the classroom who is not of their culture or race.
