Demonstration of Newton's First Law of Motion

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

A scientist performs an engaging experiment to demonstrate Newton's First Law of Motion. He puts a blow-torch to a Hero's Engine to create steam, which sets the apparatus spinning. He explains that in space where nothing would act on it to slow it down, it would keep spinning forever. Insert this video into your lecture on Newton's Laws of Motion. This would be best used with videos from the same creator, one on each of the three laws.
