Depression

Students work together to develop a survey to ask people who lived during the Great Depression. Using the information from the survey, they write an essay or a poem describing why it was bad for one of their family members to lose their home. They discuss the difficulty in finding work during this time period as well.

Diana C.
Lesson planning can be so time consuming. Now I can spend some time with my kids. Quality lessons when you've got that "not so creative" feeling.
