Study allusions with a research and presentation project. Pupils are assigned a specific allusion, the phoenix for example. They research the origins, compose a summary, explain the concept, and explore this allusion within various cultures. Each learner then presents while the rest of the class takes notes. A list of allusions is not included, but an example is provided. After the project description, there is a drill that you can use to check for understanding of the standard.
