Super science learners examine the sun's production of energy by the process of nuclear fusion. Hands-on activities make this instructional activity engaging for middle schoolers. The instructional activity is made up of four parts. Part I is an introduction to the sun as an energy source and has pupils view it throug a pinhole viwer. Part II is a homework assigment. Parts III and IV examine potential and kinetic energy, relating it to radiation from the sun.
