A map of the Battle of Trafalgar, just west of Cape Trafalgar, Spain. The battle was between the British Royal Navy under Admiral Lord Nelson and the combined fleets of the French and Spanish navies. This sea battle, fought on 21st October, 1805, resulted in a victory for Nelson's fleet.
