Junior ecologists examine Arizona's biotic communities and research an animal or plant that is found in this community. In this instructional activity, learnerss write a narrative essay about their assigned animal or plant. They research online and in texts to determine relevant information. Finally, a class booklet containing all of their reports is compiled. It would make a wonderful showpiece for an open house!
