Exploring Marine Ecosystems in the Caribbean and Maine

Students compare the marine habitats of Maine and the Caribbean using temperature, tides, ocean currents, latitude and longitude. In this marine ecosystems lesson, students analyze maps to complete graphic organizers that evaluate the viability of marine life in the different ecosystems. Students visit an aquarium and identify the attributes of a coral reef. Students complete two fill in the blank worksheets complete with graphics, glossary, and resources page.
