Many young mathematicians get slightly confused when they are introduced to the concept of exponents. This resource will ensure that they never get confused again. Sal explains, quite emphatically, that six to the eighth power is NOT the same as 6x8. While this is a great way to introduce exponents, it is also essential to fully work out the problem in the classroom to further reinforce the concept.
