F = ma, Inertia, and Action-Reaction

Fourth graders apply concepts of Newton's Laws in scientific inquiries. Use this instructional activity to have your charges test and identify the characteristics of objects that make them easier or harder to push. After a teacher-led demonstration, learners engage in an activity using a bucket with water that will lead to greater understanding of some of Newton's Laws. The activity is easy to implement, and should be most enjoyable for your kids. Very good!
