Federal Reserve Balance Sheet

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet
This Federal Reserve Balance Sheet instructional video also includes:
  • Federal Reserve Balance Sheet (HTML version from khanacademy.org)
  • Join to access all included materials

With an actual balance sheet from the Federal Reserve (from 2007, before all of the "banking silliness" began to happen), Sal walks viewers through the Fed's assets, liabilities, and equity. Pupils will be pleased to see how the theories they've studied in class apply directly to the Federal Reserve, and they will be able to put the process of federal banking into a strong context.
