Fighting Conservation Crime

Pupils identify and interpret the evolution and sources of law in Canada. Students compare and contrast the legal rights and responsibilities of individuals, groups, and organizations in Canadian society. Pupils write a one-page opinion summary paper outlining how they think Canadian laws should balance the conservation of threatened species with the rights of individuals and businesses.
