After a teacher-led demonstration, learners are broken up into groups and perform an experiment using cabbage juice, water, window cleaner, and vinegar. The goal of the lesson is to drive home the point that when two liquids are mixed together, and a color change takes place, that it is an indication of a chemical change taking place.
