Instructional Ideas
  • After playing the game, ask the whole class a few questions from the game board and hold a brief whole-group discussion
  • As a follow-up project, invite individuals to create their own board games to play with in class
Classroom Considerations
  • The numbers on the board tiles are bit small, so make sure to point them out (and the order they go in) to your class before beginning the game
  • Note that you will need to provide dice and player pieces; only the board is included
  • The board does reference the 2010 World Cup, so you may wish to edit that one question
Pros
  • Encourages small groups of learners to hold conversations after each play on the game board
  • Provides the game board, which provides all of the future tense questions
Cons
  • None
