This is a lesson from the Egyptian Mythology unit which focuses on Egyptian religious beliefs and culture. Their religion was based on a complex system of polytheistic beliefs and rituals which included providing for the gods to gain their favor as they controlled nature. It was centered around the pharoah. This lesson includes a study of religion and culture and includes a researched essay on some aspect of the Egyptian culture and going to the BBC website to participate in a game simulation of building a pyramid.
