Learners understand that elements of the geography curriculum are important aspects of certain jobs. In this geography/career lesson plan, students discuss how geography can be useful in certain jobs, listen to guest speakers whose careers are related to geography (such as travel agent, pilot, tour guide...), and then do research on careers that require geography knowledge.
