Students put the candies into a cup and shake them gently before pouring them onto a paper plate. Count the m&m's with the "m" showing (students may eat these). The remaining m&m's are counted, and the process continues until all candies are gone. On a graphing calculator, students explore the data they have collected and choose the best fit for the data.
