Go Fish:

Third graders imagine that they are asked to determine the number of fish in a nearby pond. To count the fish one by one, they could remove the fish from the pond and stack them to one side, or mark each fish so they would not count them over and over again.

I teach a variety of subjects and ages depending on what block of the day. Generally, when I do not have time to brainstorm on my own or just need to find a quick worksheet LessonPlanet comes to the rescue. Excellent variety of math activities and worksheets for my grade 3 to 6 class. In addition, I've found countless activities for my social studies 10 class as well as my English 7 to 9 class. Honestly, I would recommend this site to all teachers.
