Greece: The Landscape

Students work in small groups to create a topographic map of Greece. They must include labeled line drawings of bordering countries and bodies of water. Students use salt and flour clay to make Greece three dimensional, showing the many mountains and archipelagos. This is the first of a series of lessons at this link. Seven chapters of the book "Greece" are covered in this series.

Christine K.
Lesson Planet is a phenomenal resource for finding new ideas and lessons for the classroom. What makes Lesson Planet so unique is that many of the lessons found are complete with worksheets, detailed instructions, and they are aligned to content standards. It is the only lesson resource that I gladly pay for, and it is worth every penny!
