Hello My Name is . . . Helvetica

Young scholars play various games to help create a classroom community. In this name recognition instructional activity, students combine their name recognition skills with newly learned art and geometric vocabulary. First young scholars discover vocabulary that they can use to describe the direction and shape of lines within the letters of their name, then they practice identifying the different types of lines that make up the letters in their classmates' names.
