Hidden Children and the Holocaust: A Lesson and Pledge for Action

Students read various personal accounts of children during the Holocaust. Using special identification cards, they relate the Holocaust to historical events in their lifetimes. Examining primary source documents, they describe how they might relate to the story. They develop their own Holocaust Remembrance Pledge.

I am a first year homeschool mom. I found Lesson Planet and was impressed with the amount of resources that are available online! I have been able to find content that was age appropriate and relevant to the areas my 3 kids are studying. And knowing that these are plans created by teachers makes me confident in presenting the material to my children.
