Learners explore the importance of soup kitchens. In this philanthropy instructional activity, students brainstorm ways they can be philanthropists. Learners watch a puppet show about a young girl who doesn't have enough to eat at home and has to go to a soup kitchen. Students then participate in a variety of centers focused on soup kitchens. As a final project learners can assemble dried soup.
