How Do You Figure Out If a Relation is a Function?

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

If a relation is to be considered a function then the values in the domain can only appear once in the table. It does not matter how many times a value appears in the range. Set up a table using the given values to check and see if the values in the domain appear only once. Check out this video to hear the explanation.
