# How Do You Find the X- and Y-Intercepts of a Line in Slope-Intercept From?

Find the x and y intercepts in a given linear equation written in slope intercept form. Piece of cake! There are just two things to do. First, substitute 0 for x and solve to find the y-value. Then substitute 0 for y to find the value of x. Write each as an ordered pair to represent the x point of the x-intercept, and the y point of the y-intercept.
