As humans, we rely heavily on written and spoken word to receive and pass on knowledge. Impress upon your young learners the importance of having a critical eye when looking at life, and of maintaining an objective view of both ourselves and our relationship to the world around us. This could be a great tie-in to a lesson on needing evidence or being aware of historical context when reviewing a source of information so that we can distinguish between cases where we can safely and reasonably trust authority from occasions we cannot.
