How Do You Simplify an Algebraic Fraction by Canceling Common Factors?

Use prime factorization to simplify this algebraic fraction. When the factorization is done then cancel out all values in which a value from the numerator and a value from the denominator equal 1. And what is left over is then the simplified form of the algebraic fraction. Not sure what this means? Then watch the video.
