How Does Commercial Printing Work?

Commercial printing has come a long ways since its inception in 1440 with the invention of the printing press. Today we use "offset lithography." Using computers, technicians create combinations of colors and etch mirror images on aluminum plates. Machines then print 10,000 photo-quality two-sided brochures in less than 3.5 hours.
