How Many in Each?

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

As you introduce your scholars to multiplication, these short word problems will give them quick victories. Each includes only three sentences and an image. For example, "Five boxes of candy. Four candies in each box. How many candies?" There are three worksheets with four questions each. For the first, learners only deal with numbers under 10. The second and third include the number ten. Consider cutting these out and having students grab from randomly to solve!
