I Read On My Own!

Students examine how to choose books to read on their own and how to participate in reading discussions. They practice the two finger rule for choosing an independent reading book and how to look at the book's topic for personal interest. After choosing a book, they read independently on a daily basis, and complete a book log that will be used as an assessment.

Lesson Planet has helped me a lot with my previous grade levels from K-6. Now I am reinstating my membership because I know it can help me more with my middle school special education classes.
