Children discuss voting and the presidency. They make a picture of what they would do as president and dictate a caption. The class then votes on the snack they would like to eat that day. This presents many wonderful learning opportunities for young learners. It's important that they get to know details about their president, and they should enjoy the process of making up rules and laws. This resource is based on the Arthur episode "DW Goes to Washington."
