Immigration

This 3-day immigration study draws on historical trends and current events. A worksheet accompanies initial research on one group's U.S. immigration history, giving opportunity for collaborative learning through sharing findings. Groups analyze political cartoons, determining which group is targeted, and what stereotypes are used. With a different set of cartoons, groups analyze effects of massive immigration while completing a worksheet (linked). Extension activities included.
