Interpreting Dramatic Works

Action! Delve into character development in the play Fences by August Wilson, setting the stage for learners to analyze character nuances. Thespians choose a scene from the script, responding with a written account of the character's suggestions. As an overall evaluation, groups come up with oral presentations to share their conclusions about the main characters. There isn't much to this plan; it works best as a starting outline. The dramatization portion is left out.

Sabrina F.
I have been able to find a variety of resources to meet a variety of needs. As a special ed teacher I need to continually find new ways of presenting the material and Lesson Planet always has many great ideas that have worked wonderfully in my classroom. It's especially great when I need to make a last minute change to a lesson!
