This Introduce /f/ lesson plan also includes:
Hook your scholars by drawing a large f on the board; do they know what letter this is? Once you've demonstrated the sound it makes, use these tips to help them make the same sound. Although the audio function is neat, it may not be worth the set-up when you can simply say these sounds. Brainstorm some words that begin with f, then print several letters, a few of them f, on the board. Play a game as you point to letters; if you point to an f, scholars say its sound. If it's another letter, they stay silent. There are some good letter card printables here, too.
