Make the /n/ sound, explaining how you do it using these tips. Kids try on their own and then brainstorm words with this initial phoneme. Play a fast-thinking game to cement letter recognition skills, pointing to one letter at a time. If you point to an n they make its sound, staying silent for all other letters.
