Get a glimpse of Anne Frank's years in hiding with this activity, which introduces The Diary of Anne Frank. Readers complete a journal entry about how they would keep themselves occupied if they were forced into hiding (without personal electronics). The instructional activity then transitions into an introduction to Anne Frank's life, using a worksheet and SMARTboard slideshow, both of which are provided. This is an excellent way to begin a unit on Anne Frank and the Holocaust.
