Japanese Fish Printing

Students examine the characteristics of Japanese fish printing. Using a fresh or frozen fish, they create their own unique fish print. They paint the fish in the colors they chose and place it on a piece of colored paper. They discover a new kind of art and a new way to analyze the structure of a fish.

Sabrina F.
I have been able to find a variety of resources to meet a variety of needs. As a special ed teacher I need to continually find new ways of presenting the material and Lesson Planet always has many great ideas that have worked wonderfully in my classroom. It's especially great when I need to make a last minute change to a lesson!
