What happens when change you imagined, the change you were promised, is slow in coming or doesn't happen at all? What do you do with the frustration and disenchantment? Class members watch two clips from the Ken Burns: Jackie Robinson Collection, one that contrasts Jackie Robinson's response to the lack of progress in race relations to that of Malcolm X, and one that contrast his approach to that of other more radical voice of the times. Viewers then engage in a full-class discussion based on questions they have about the clips.
